Hard Hands – A starting hand with no aces or an ace counted as a one.

Total=8 or less – Hit

Total=9 – If the dealer has 3, 4, 5 or 6, double. Otherwise hit.

Total=10 – If the dealer has 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, double. Otherwise hit.

Total=11 – Double for anything, only hit if the dealer shows an ace.

Total=12 – If the dealer has 2 or 3, double. If the dealer has 4, 5 or 6, stay. Otherwise hit.

Total=13 – 16 – If the dealer has 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, stay. Otherwise hit.

Total=17-21 – Stay

Pairs – initially dealt two of the same card.

Aces, Eights – Split

Twos, threes – If the dealer has 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7, split. Otherwise hit.

Fours – If the dealer has 5 or 6, split. Otherwise hit.

Fives – If the dealer has 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, split. Otherwise hit.

Sixes – If the dealer has 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, split. Otherwise hit.

Sevens – If the dealer has 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, split. Otherwise hit.

Nines – Only stay if the dealer shows a 7, 10 or Ace.

Tens – Always stay.
