Roulette is a wheel-based game played in casinos around the world. Players place bets on the outcome of a ball spinning on the wheel. Dozen Bets – 2:1 money on the ball landing on a strip of 12 (1-12, 13-24, 25-36).

Column Bet- 2:1 money the ball will land on one of three long strips of numbers on the board.

Variants of Inside Bets

Straight up- 35:1 money that the ball will land on one single number

Split – 17:1 money that the ball will land on one of two adjoining numbers. Place on the line separating them to make this bet.

Street – 11:1 money that the ball will land in a line of three numbers.

Square- 8:1 money that the ball will land on one of four numbers situated in a square on the board. Place in the middle of the four numbers to make this bet.

Six line- 5:1 on any bet on two adjoining streets.

The house always retains a slight advantage, but depending on which type of bet you choose, the advantage might be lower due to a higher payoff versus the odds. For instance, a bet on a square offers a good return of investment versus the house edge.
